All the Walls Came Down has been officially shortlisted for the 98th Academy Awards® in the Documentary Short Film category, marking a major milestone for the film and its impact.
Announced by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the shortlist includes 15 films selected from a total of 117 qualified entries. Members of the Documentary Branch will now move forward in determining the final nominees.
Directed by Ondi Timoner, All the Walls Came Down documents the aftermath of the Eaton Fire in Altadena, capturing both the devastation experienced by residents and the powerful sense of community that emerged in response. Through intimate, on-the-ground storytelling, the film gives voice to those directly impacted while shedding light on the ongoing challenges of recovery.
The film has already received national attention for its timely and urgent subject matter, as it continues to spotlight the realities faced by fire survivors across California.
